This is the fourth unit of the Cambridge Environmental Management IGCSE course; THE ATMOSPHERE AND HUMAN ACTIVITIES Dates: Sept 2: Structure and Composition of the Atmosphere/Natural Greenhouse effect Sept 9: Climate Change (i) CAUSES Sept 16: Climate Change (i) IMPACTS Sept 23: Climate Change (i) STRATEGIES Sept 30: Acid Rain Oct 7: Ozone Depletion Oct 14: Worked exam questions October 21: Assignment 4 All lessons are taught using detailed PowerPoint slides which support teaching and contain all the subject material needed for the IGCSE. No textbook or workbook is necessary. All lessons slides as a pdf, recordings and other resources will be placed in a google classroom each week. These will be accessible until Nov 2027. Lessons are payable per unit at £6 per student per lesson (total cost of entire course of live lessons plus recordings, slides, homework and marked assignments will be £306). The complete course will run until the end of March 2027, for the May 2027 exams. Each unit will be bookable separately.
