This is the second unit of the Cambridge Environmental Management IGCSE course; LAND Dates: APRIL 15: Soils and crop growth APRIL 22: Conditions for crop growth APRIL 29: Food production and crop yield (i) MAY 6: Food production and crop yield (ii) MAY 13: Increasing yields MAY 20: Impacts HALF TERM JUNE 3 Causes of soil erosion JUNE 10 Strategies to reduce soil erosion UNIT 3 will start on JUNE 17 and last until the end of the summer term. All lessons are taught using detailed PowerPoint slides which support teaching and contain all the subject material needed for the IGCSE. No textbook or workbook is necessary. All lessons slides as a pdf, recordings and other resources will be placed in a google classroom each week. These will be accessible until Nov 2027. Lessons are payable per unit at £6 per student per lesson (total cost of entire course of live lessons plus recordings, slides, homework and marked assignments will be £306). The complete course will run until the end of March 2027, for the May 2027 exams. Each unit will be bookable separately.
