Service Description
This is a NEW 10 week course starting on 15th September 2026 covering many aspects of the seven units of the IGCSE, to give students a good overview before we start the exam work. The seven units are: * Natural resources * Land * Water * The Atmosphere and human activities * Ecosystems, biodiversity and fieldwork * Natural Hazards * Human Population. We will cover 15.9.26 Overview of the new IGCSE course and sustainability 22.9.26 Land - Increasing agricultural yield 29.9.26 Land - Unsustainable Agriculture and its impact 6.10.26 Water - Water sources and pollution 13.10.26 The Atmosphere - The Greenhouse effect 20.10.26 The Atmosphere - Acid Rain NO LESSON FOR HALF TERM 3.11.26 Ecosystems 10.11.26 Fieldwork Studies 17.11.26 Natural Hazards - SEEing the impacts 24.11.26 Human Population The IGCSE course itself will start in JANUARY 2027 and run until Easter 2028 - allowing time for past paper practice before the exam in May 2028. There will be a limited number of places available on the IGCSE course.
